State 4-H Scholarships Due

Kansas State 4-H Scholarships are investments in the educational endeavors of young people who have overcome challenges in their lives to pursue their educational goals. Scholarship recipients will be recognized leaders and role models within their home communities who have balanced “greater than usual” demands and contributed in positive ways as a 4-H member and citizen.

All scholarships must be submitted in full and should be on the 2020 Kansas 4-H Scholarship Application which can be found at https://www.kansas4-h.org/resources/4-h-library/awards-and-recognition/scholarships.html. The Kansas State 4-H Scholarship requires a copy of your grade transcript, several letters of recommendation and an essay, so plan ahead!

Any past 4-H member who is currently in college is eligible to apply for the KS 4-H scholarships. You are considered for all scholarships that you qualify for with one application.

Please not that the mail system takes several extra days to get to the State 4-H Office. State Scholarship application must go through the Ford County Extension Office. They also require an agent's signature. Therefore, the due date for State Scholarships must be turned into the Ford County Extension Office by Wednesday, January 22. The 2020 Scholarships must be in the State 4-H Office on February 1, 2020.
