Livestock Quality Counts

A priority of the 4-H livestock project is to teach members the proper animal husbandry methods and ethical practices when raising and showing livestock. Quality Counts Training is MANDATORY for all county 4-H'ers who will be selling a market animal at the county fair livestock sale.

The next training is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16 at 6:00 pm at the Ford County Fair Building. The KAP Training scheduled to follow the livestock training has been canceled. please RSVP to the Extension Office by May 12. If you are unable to attend, contact the office to make arrangements to view a recorded session. 4-h'ers must complete Quality Counts by June 15th to sell their animal at the 2017 Ford County Fair Livestock Auction.
